Start this month off by finding 20 minutes today to devote to focusing your energy and efforts. What do you really want to accomplish this month? List out four goals one per week) and then check your progress throughout the month. (Follow the calendar and it will remind you.)

We are half way through Week One of October. How are you doing on your goals that you set at the beginning of the month? The month is still young--if you aren't pleased with your progress... change your efforts today!

In your busy day, carve out five minutes to send a hand-written note to a close friend. Words can touch a soul, brighten a life, and change the world.

Cross-Check: Take today to dot your "Is" and cross your "Ts." Back up your computer. Check the batteries in your smoke alarms. Perform a self-breast exam. Focus on advance preparation to avoid problems later.

Take a moment this Sunday to make one phone call to someone who has played a vital role in your life. Call and thank them for their support and encouragement.

The second Tuesday of each month has been designated as "Tidy Day." Find as many 10 minute increments as you can, set your timer, and work on those areas of the home (or paper piles) that have been causing you stress.

Enjoy a take-a-risk-week. Use this Monday to think about something new you have wanted to try or wanted to do. Stop thinking-- and JUMP!

Gratitude Check: Make sure to maintain your daily gratitude list. Each night add the things for which you are most grateful.

Today - give 10 smiles to those who need them. Smile brightly, give someone a compliment. Watch how your simple words and simple deeds can change someone's outlook. Remember that those who seem least likely to smile--need your smile the most.

How are those October goals coming along? This is our last week of the month--make it count with a "Goal Sprint!" Devote at least 30 minutes a day to reaching your goals! You don't have time to put your goals off any longer!
